Important Safety Guidelines & Precautions

• Penicillin Hypersensitivity Warning: Strictly contraindicated in individuals with a history of severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis, hives, Stevens-Johnson syndrome) to ampicillin, cloxacillin, penicillins, or cephalosporins.

• Empty Stomach Requirement: Food significantly impairs the gastrointestinal absorption of both ampicillin and cloxacillin. Doses should be timed away from meal intervals.

• Hepatic & Renal Monitoring: Caution should be exercised in patients with underlying renal or hepatic impairment; dosage adjustments may be required.
